Need a Good Deed? Read to a Shelter Dog

Do you know that comfy feeling of sitting next to a loved one and sharing a good book? It might be your spouse, a child or a grandchild. On one special day soon, you can bring that love to a four-footed friend in need of some special attention. Even a safe, clean kennel doesn’t feel like home, and animals awaiting adoption experience stress. You can make a difference in Conroe, TX by reading to a shelter dog at this event, cosponsored by Who Rescued Who and Montgomery County Animal Shelter.

When Does the Reading Happen?

Join other caring animal lovers on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. The shelter will have reading material on hand, or bring your own. The dogs are happy to hear favorite story books, short stories, novels or even that work article you’ve been meaning to read for the office.

Where Should I Go To Read?

Come to the Montgomery County Animal Shelter at 8535 Texas 242 in Conroe, TX 77385. MCAS is active in helping animals in Montgomery County through adoption, fostering and in many other ways.
