Once again, we’re going to take a break from our usual blog topics, and instead talk about our community. We’re highlighting three fun events taking place on Friday and Saturday this week. Jurassic Quest
Do you have kids obsessed with dinosaurs? Then you have to take them to Jurassic Quest! This major event takes place Saturday, March 18th at the Lone Star Convention Center right here in Conroe. There will be over 80 life-sized dinosaur animatronics for kids to see, from various periods of dinosaur existence. There are also fossil digs, science stations, crafts, and a bounce house (so be sure your kids wear socks). This is a great event for the entire family to enjoy.
Greater Conroe Arts Festival
This epic Arts Festival is taking place on Saturday March 18th from 10am until 4pm. The festival is located at Founder’s Plaza on 205 Metcalf Street. There will be art vendors and displays, live music, Lego building for kids, live art demonstrations, and tons of raffles and games. Plus, food trucks and a Main Street Market. 21 organizations will be taking part, and you and your family can see all genres of the arts represented here!
Front Row Conroe
This is a multimedia art exhibit that features over 20 local artists from the Lone Star State. This takes place on Friday, March 17th from 6pm until 10pm at The Muse Manor on 512 North 2nd Street. See some of the talented artists and their work who call our state home!
